We’d like to provide an update on the latest features and improvements we’ve made to TAS. We’ve listened to the feedback of our customers and are pleased to announce that we’ve improved the following features.
Calculating Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) has always been a critical part of the transportation and logistics industry. Not only does it help plan routes and create schedules, but it can also contribute to a better customer experience. And now we have good news! In the planning module, the calculation of ETAs has been expanded, making it possible to calculate the ETA for all activities of a trip.
What exactly does this new functionality entail? Simply put, it allows our users to calculate the ETA for each activity in a trip. Now this will also be possible for multi-day trips.
But that’s not all! TAS also offers the possibility to share the ETA with customers and other stakeholders.
This means that your customers know exactly when their goods will arrive and you can keep you informed of any changes. This can contribute to a better customer experience and can help improve customer communication.
And that is not all. The recalculation of the positions of your vehicles is also included in this functionality if you send structured commands to the on-board computer.
In short, this update of the ETA functionality is a game changer for the transport and logistics industry.
